The first step in this process is to take the battery pack apart.Inspect the battery for small screws that hold the plastic case of the battery together. If you locate these screws, use a small Phillips head screwdriver to remove them. Proceed directly to Step 3 if you were able to find the screws and successfully removed them.Heat up a soldering iron equipped with a chisel tip if you do not find any screws that hold the pack together. You will use the chisel tip to cut a line around the molded hard plastic case that encloses the battery pack. Set the pack on its base and carefully work your way around the midpoint of the pack in a straight line.
