Most of the Everest Base Camp Trekking days will be spent above altitude of 3000m in the Khumbu and Imja Khola valleys exploration- there will be plenty of time to enjoy the local culture of the Sherpa people, visiting ancient monasteries, learn about Buddhism influence in Sherpa’s life and traditional farming system will add to flavor to your journey and will be most unforgettable experiences throughout your lifetimes.
Your Everest Base Camp Trekking will begin with exiting STOL flight to Lukla at 2800 meter above sea level. The trail passes through the picturesque Sherpa cultural villages of around together stunning mountain views via meadow land of upper Khumbu valley and finally you will be at Gorakshep (5140m) the last stop point and from there ascent of Kalapatthar ridge (5545m) from where you can observe classic views of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Mt Pumori and its many surrounding peaks. You will be also exploring up to the Everest Base Camp and Khumbu glacier section observation along the entire trip.
Everest Base Camp Trekking- Outline Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport Nepal. Up on arrival meet our office representative at airport and transfer to hotel/ after refreshing complete the official formalities/ briefing about the preparation and rest
Day 02: Full day guided sightseeing around Kathmandu city- Historical Durbar Square area, Pasupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa & Swyambhunath Stupa which will take you to visit Nepal’s most popular attractions
Day 03: Everest Base Camp Trekking first day-Fly to Lukla (2800m), start trek to Phakding (2610m)/overnight at teahouse. (
Day 04: Trek Phakding (2610m) to Namche Bazaar (3500m)/overnight at teahouse.
Day 05: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar (3500m)/overnight at teahouse.
Day 06: Trek Namche Bazaar (3500m) to Tengboche (3850m) /overnight at teahouse.
Day 07: Trek Tengboche (3850m) to Dingbuche (4350m) /overnight at teahouse.
Day 08: Rest day at Dingbuche, another day for acclimatization or explore around or hike and overnight at teahouse.
Day 09: Trek Dingbuche (4350m) to Lobuche (4950m)/overnight at teahouse.
Day 10: Trek Lobuche to Ghorakshep (5140m)/Visit EBC/overnight at teahouse.
Day 11: Visit Kalapatthar (5545m)/Mt Everest view/trek to Pangboche Village/overnight at teahouse.
Day 12: Trek Pangboche Village to Mong La (3850m) via Phortse Sherpa village/overnight at teahouse.
Day 13: Trek back Mong La (3850m) to Namche Bazar/overnight at teahouse.
Day 14: Trek back Namche Bazar to Phakding/overnight at teahouse.
Day 15: Everest Base Camp Trekking last day-Trek back Phakding to Lukla/overnight at teahouse.
Day 16: Early in the morning, transfer to airport and fly back from Lukla to Kathmandu, end the trip and transfer to hote.
Day 17: After breakfast transfer to airport for final departure or proceed for onward program.
The package includes:
* Airport transfers - pick up and drop upon arrival and departure
* Entry permit to Sagarmatha National Park and TIMS fee
* Supporting staffs (trekking guide and porter), as well as their necessary insurance, and accommodation meals allowance and salary
* Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner -3 meals per day and overnight accommodation in tea house lodge along the trail.
