I fell in love with printmaking back in college and my preferred printing procedure is
monotyping- drawing or painting on a clean non absorbent surface after which shifting it to paper. A monotype produces a very specific print with a method this is unpredictable, expressive, painterly and absolutely not like another innovative procedure. There are all kinds of equipment and components for monotypes (acrylic printing plates, the Gelli plate, and so on) but in reality any slick floor will work- even something as simple as a plastic bag! There are all types of methods to get expressive on the floor- you can scratch into the paint with a toothpick, antique paint brush or the stop of a pencil. You can pull paint away (subtractive approach) with a cotton change or a rag. You can even upload paint and brush strokes to the surface.
Once you're glad its time to print by way of clearly putting the plastic bag onto your floor. I like to roll my brayer over it multiple times and peel the bag away from the floor. You are left with a print! https://byebyegluten.co.uk/collections/mini-mega-200g
If you're fortunate and there may be nevertheless enough ink at the bag you are able to get a 2nd print- called a "ghost print".
