Designed by Chris Anderson on the South Coast of NSW, Australia the Ecto Handplane makes bodysurfing fun for everyone! The multi award winning design has a specific shape, volume, strap and leash so it gives you more speed and lift as well as a GoPro camera mount to capture the session. Experience riding deep within waves in any conditions from small summer beach breaks to big peeling reefs! Made by upcycling broken surfboards from Chris's 1000 Surfboard Graveyard project “1000 Surfboard Graveyard highlighted the thousands of surfboards going to landfill each year. As a surfer and designer, I developed ecto handplanes as an innovative way to recycle broken surfboards. The Ecto Handplane is designed with a light single concave and a carefully balanced volume to make body surfing fast and fun! ecto (eck-tow) was a nickname, it's short for 'ectomorph', a term that refers to people with a lean and tall body shape.
