Come and enjoy a few days in the Blue Mountains with your kids and know they will be having a stimulating and fun day of learning with a qualified Primary School Teacher in a group of less than 10 other kids. Meanwhile you can go and have a nice long lunch with your other half or a friend at one of the many incredible restaurants or take your pick of short or long bushwalks through the World Heritage Listed Blue Mountains.
Placed in the centre of the pretty little village of Blackheath ( a 10 minute drive from Katoomba) is Studio 52 - Creative Hub and Store, a quiet stroll from great coffee and food that rivals the best of Sydney. Here high quality local designed and/or made wares are sold at reasonable prices, and workshops teaching the age-old techniques of fabric and paper printing and needle craft are taught to primary aged children from 5 up to 13. The Junior and Senior Workshops are designed so that parents can enrol siblings together in the classes on the same day, or enrol an older child in the senior Workshops on one day and the Junior Workshops on the other allowing quality time with each child. A simple lunch can be arranged for children and the days events are broken up with drama games and story telling, as well as breaks enabling children to connect with other workshop participants.
